Right I got Geek magic dvd and one of the tricks is balloon swallowing, and I have tried and tried to get this trick right and its not just working as soon as you get the whole inside the balloon (if you know the method you know what I mean) it just doesn't let any air out so I can only swallow so much and cant get the rest of the balloon done, so I was wondering do any of yous have any tips on how to swallow the rest of the balloon because I keep haveing to pull it out and start again so any help will be much appreciated

Steve Bedwell covers the balloon swallow (in better detail) on his video MD Not Required. Maybe I’m reading you wrong, but it sound like you’re going about it from the wrong end.

You might want to try the search function. This topic has been discussed at length a number of times here at the Café.

I've switched to the non-bedwell end, I use a pump currently to pump up the balloon and it is much more sure-fire.

I also found the exact "thing" needed to make sure things come out just right.

I am now set!

I learned the hard way (as usual) that doing this in a restaurant is a bad idea. I was younger and stupider and "swallowed" a balloon as a means to show off and impress some regulars. I didn't think to look around first and see who might also be witness to this effort. After doing it, one woman was wretching (but didn't actually hurl), another looked like all the blood had run out of her head and was about to faint, two kids went nuts and said they couldn't wait to get some balloons and try it themselves. Oops!
