Hi All,

Thought you might find these interesting.

Every clown is not just a CLOWN,

I wanted to know why Emmett Kelly was such a big name. I mean there was no shortage of tramp clowns. Why was he a star?.............

Enter Weary Willie. The spotlight picked him up madly dashing along the hippodrome track making a beeline for the center ring frantically pantomiming "STOP THE SHOW-STOP THE SHOW"…........ "Weary Willie shares the spotlight…" by LeeKolozsy

Corny-Ville Comic, The dangers of being an inexperienced Blockhead!

Wishing you the best of this Holiday Season,

Emmet was purity. He could sit on the ring edge with a head of cabbage and eyes around the arena were rivited on him while wild action went on all around him.

I'll be sure and read that John. I hope it's not about Jr. who wasn't a patch on his old mans drawers.

Doug

Thanks...just read it. Excellent stuff! Emmet Kelly SR. was brilliant to be sure.
