Anyone got this, I am wondering what it is about, what I mean is what kind of effects are included?
also what is your favourite (or best in your opinion) volume? j55 |

I have all 6, in all honesty... all 6 volumes are amazing.
The first three are more focussed on effects with the sleights needed taught to do them. The later 3 fill in all the gaps that he left out of the originals because at the time I don't think he has considered that he would be producing 4,5 and 6. Volumes 4,5 and 6 were only released about 6 months ago and contain ALL of Mr.Green's moves. The shuffling is awe inspiring, the sleights and moves are graceful and excellent and Quintessential Green (vol 6) has everything that didn't fit in anywhere else. Which one is best? depends on your type of magic, if you used stacked decks... Shuffling Green. If you're into learning new moves, Sleightly Green, Quintessential Green is excellent too (in depth Laser Deal).

I watched one of these, the one with the shuffles and I was totally amazed. With the exception of one or two shuffles, those shuffles are just not for me. I'm a mess with cards, but loved watching though!

The beauty of it... is like a very good actor-singer, you have to be able to sing very well to pretend to sing badly and then build up to singing well.
Likewise with Lennart Green, he can hadle cards with such a high degree of fluency... the amazing thing is, he can do all his shuffles perfectly... but he has gone beyond that to handle the cards messily whilst still pulling off all of the sleights... Exceptional... simply exceptional.

Umm the last three don't teach any routines if I remember correctly, or at least, that is not the main focus. The first three teach shuffles leading to new order decks, chaos to order effects, poker deals etc. etc. The last 3 are mainly moves/sleights.
If anything start at 4 and build to 6 then go back to 1-3 to learn the effects.
