I could be wrong, but "Menemerica" prediction seems like its the same as Bob Mason's "Predicta total" sold by Abbotts.
It may be a bit more eloberate, but I'll bet the working is the same. Richard. |

I think this topic deserves to be brought to the top, and the question asked: are these the same effect? If not, what are the differences? (Of course, if they are, then why the huge price difference?)
Perhaps the Hocus Pocus team could address the matter. Gianni |

Hello,
The two effects although they may have appeared to be similar work differently. The method and handling of Menemerica is completely different. The Menemerica effect was a limited production of only 10 units and sold out in just two days after being posted on our website. No more will be offered. Best Regards Paul Gross Owner Hocus Pocus |

I appreciate Paul's attention and comments on this. The Predicta-Total was a good effect and so now I am very interested in any reviews on this effect, which one would assume is a nice improvement.

Unless I read the ad description of Mnermica totally incorrectly, I think Predicta-Total is a much better effect. The working was kind of a "no-brainer" when I read the ad? With Predicta-Total, you can repeat the effect with a completely different outcome.
Also, I know how ridiculous this is going to sound, but I think the effect is perceived as much more impossible if the prediction is a 4-digit number rather than a two-digit number. It's kind of like the rings. As silly as it may sound, I remember one time watching a young man perform the Linking Rings close-up at a table in a restaurant. He did an outstanding routine using 5" small rings. At a table nearby, I could hear the conversation of another couple. All these customers were laymen, of course. The context of the conversation was, "...he's pretty good, but remember that other guy we saw. He was really good. He used those big rings..." Silly, but that's the perception these laymen had! |
