I tried and tried to search this first, I promise, but can not locate it.
Somewhere I read a thread or post that spoke of an effect where you hold someones hand, or press on their arm or wrist, and it causes some visual change on them such as their veins appearing or vanishing or lines changing on their palm or some other visual skin effect.... Whew (long sentence!) Does anyone know what I am talking about? I remember it got a powerful reaction from the observer.

That would be pretty cool. I got the skull dugery dvd and it describes ways to slowdown and "stop" your pulse. Very cool stuff. It also explains how to do it to others. that's the only thing veiny I know of... where did you hear/see this? more info please...

The same DVD has an item on it wherein the lines on a spectators hand move and swirl.

If this is where the spectator stares at a swirling image first that is not what I am looking for, but I thank you for responding.
I do believe that it was taught on some DVD to the best of my knowledge. I am pretty sure it happens to the spectator but maybe it was the performer. All I know is that I lost track of it and really wanted to do this. Someone no doubt will respond in time. To fortify this post how about ANY body illusions? What else do you do in this area? Example: Where you press down on someone’s arms and they involuntarily slowly rise up from muscle response.

The effect you're looking for is by Luke Jermey. The effect causes the lines in a subjects hand to begin to move and change shape. It may be found in his book "7 Deceptions" as well as on his DVD "Skulduggery". The pulse stopping of a spectator is also found in these two resources.
I hope this helps. -George Tait |

Greg Arce's variation of Luke Jermay's 'Twisted Palm' takes advantage of the hands reaction after doing something (trying to be vague here).
Stare at your hand and notice how it ages into an old man's hand with spots and more wrinkles. |
