How about some reviews and/or tips for "Quarte" by Bloom?

I saw Gaeton do this two years ago and thought it was killer then. I instantly knew how it worked, but it was only because it uses a principle that is used in one of my favorite Slate Tricks of all time. But, the application in which this principle is used is completely different and devilishly clever.
There are absolutely no funny or unnatural actions in the entire routine. None of the four cards are forced and the trick is so easy to do that you literally will be able to focus your full attention on developing your presentation. You will not be disappointed with this, neither in the impact it has on the audience or in the method. The only slight minus I see to it is that I presume Gaeton hand drew the predictions because the digits are European style. For example, the "7" has a horizontal line through its stem. But, I haven't had anyone mention it, having performed it probably a dozen times now. And, it is very well made (at least the model from Kevin James is.) It's definitely worth the price, in my opinion. I think this trick has been discussed on another thread, because I did a post about it previously. |

Does it play well on a stage?

What size stage? Yes, I've seen it play well on stage.

Yes, when I saw Gaeton do it, it was on a stage in a very large room and I was nowhere near the front (I almost always sit way at the back at magic conventions, so I was quite a distance away.) I had no problem whatsoever seeing it.
