Me and my business partner are in the process of designing a flying carpet that will fold down flat. If you are interested, please reply below or PM me. Hope to have it available in the next few months.

It is an interesting idea and I wish you well with it. I personally still prefer the chair suspension for any type of b-day shows as well as outdoor festivals. To me it is much more verstile, easier to set up and break down and I do not have many angle problems with it.

My current flying carpet slides apart and stacks inside a box for transport. I designed and built both the carpet and the box for it.

If you are going to do flying carpet, a design that can break down flat would be the ultimate goal and make it so much easier for transporting to and from your events.

This is the basic idea behind it. We are working on a model that will have better angles and pack flat.
Cost will be somewhere around $400 - $500. |

I have been making flat folding ones for years.
Have you seen the pictures posted in the secret sessions? You can carry the entire fiber case in with one hand and set it up in less than a minute. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=3558323 Best of luck!

Glod,
I do recall you talking about this but never saw any of the photos. That looks really great and congrats on putting that entire thing together. It certainly makes it so much easier to travel with. Also good luck to Todd on his endeavor. Kyle

Glod's design is great. My design is different and with my design you can easily adjust the throw or canterlever of the aga b*r. This came in very very handy at a gig I did on stage once where the side angles were so wide that I had to bring my aga b*r in very close to the edge of the carpet. It look about 30 seconds to change it. However, I think Glod's design sets up easier than mine and a bit faster probably. We're talking a minute either way. But I like Glod's design so much I'm going to make one like it. If that's okay, Glod? Great minds think alike. Pretty good ones, too.
Best, Jim
