Where can you buy (inexpensive) single Billiard balls
Where can you buy large quantities of Billiard Balls

Or

What have you found makes a good billiard ball. What "every day objects" or easy to find idems such as large marbles have you guys found work well as billiard balls.

DM

P.S. Same question goes for billiard ball shells? Any alternatives to the billiard ball shell?

Go to your local wood craftman store. They have perfectly round wood balls. Paint them and you have your balls. The shell is another matter. Buy a large ball and dig out the center. Have fun! I did if once. It is easier to buy them.

For large quanties, just contact any of the wholesale jobbers. They will be happy to sell you a gross (144) sets of billard balls. Loftus, Robbins, etc. They generally require a $500 order.
