Hi All
I do a Pseudo Pschometry routine where the objects are placed inside padded envelopes. At the moment, I have the envelopes handed out one to each person in turn so I know who gets which one. Also, maybe more importantly, I want to lessen the "well if he knows which envelope belongs to which person..." idea popping into people’s heads. How can this be done? I don’t want to blindfold myself. Too much inherent danger and presentationally does not suit the routine. Any and all ideas welcome. Thanks, Jon

I think that if you give a "free choice" of an envelope (?) you would draw too much attention to the fact that something could be rigged with the envelopes.
I think the idea of knowing which is which is dispelled once the envelopes are mixed (put in a bag, etc.) before being returned to you. My 2 cents ... AA |

You can even (if you wish) go nowhere near the envelopes and let the spectators handle everything themselves. Either drop me an email or raise the Q again over in Secret Sessions.

I think returning the objects to the owners, weakens pseudo-psychometry. Rather than returning the object, describe the owner. Appearance, temprament. Then ask who it belongs to, If no one points out yyour hits, you may

Check out Leo Boudreau's book Psimatrika for a psuedo-psychometry effect using borrowed, unmarked envelopes.
