How long does it take for them to develop a patina? I have had mine for close to 6 months, and they almost look new. I know this sounds strange, but I like a cup that shows a little age. Copper seems to develop faster. Thanks.

You are probably blessed with perspiration that has very little acid in it. Either that, or the air in your area is not very polluted. Count yourself lucky. There is a thread on aging cups elsewhere. You can apply certain chemicals to speed the process.

I would just let them age naturally.

I've had mine for barely 2 weeks and they're all tarnished... I guess I'm not so lucky in terms of pollution.

How do you clean the cups? Or evenly tarnish them? What do I need to buy to do that?

I heard lemon juice cleans it a little bit, but I'm not going to risk it until I know for sure.

THanks

It is a lot easier to get older than it is to get wiser.
