Thanks everyone for your recommendations! I guess I have some reading to do to figure out what a thru the fist flourish a la Vernon is.
Thanks wsduncan for the vids link. That's great stuff! I've heard of a moving pothole trick using a hole punch. Does anyone know how or where I could learn that? Thanks again, especially for your patience with a "mundane" newbie

I have slots printed on my card so the customer can cut it and try and make one of these from it.

Magicman seems to have disappeared but..
Hypercard, as Tom Mc mentions, is a good one. The only problem might be if the card is only printed on one side. It would be easier to figure out. Having print only in specific areas would look cool. If you name begins with the letter "S" all the better. I managed to figure it out. |

Hi Jaz
I'm still here and I have over the years cut the business card into the Hypercard. This topic got a little off track. I want anyone who has my business card to be able to take it home and use it to perform a simple trick for THIER friends using my card. The above ideas are all good for me to perform but I want something on the card THEY can perform. I feel that whoever they perform for will ask who taught you that trick and of course my information is on the other side of the card. Thanx to all for the input. |

Steve Dusheck, do you make the cards with the holes that can be moved around on the card?

I've thought about what you need but so far haven't come up with many simple, 'give away' ideas. Maybe present two cards face to face so they look like a single blank card. Then do a simple color change of sorts and show the card printed. I'm just grabbing at air now, huh? hehehhe |
