Is anybody here familiar with El Duco's Time in Darkness? Does it really deliver all it promises?

Grateful for any reviews / comments.

Cheers,
Pradip

To find a description of 'Time in Darkness', go to: http://www.el-duco.se/ and then to the section on Mental Magic.

Thank you pradip_rao !

It's definitly not a good process...
there is too many thing much more better to do with a watch (see Banachek "Psychokinetic time"). And even for a time prediction I'm sure that we can find a better and clever way to do this without this curious bag, because this bag will put a doubt in spec mind.

And if we want to write the time on a piece of paper, swami gimmick will probably be more usefull. That's just an idea...

Shimi, which promise wasn't fullfilled? As I see it all of them are and the method is quite clever. What isn't good though is that I've never dared to perform it since I'm afraid the spectator's hand will touch something inside the bag. It could be possible to remedy this, but I'm not sure. On the other hand, actually using it might show that the spectator's hand never contacts what it isn't supposed to feel.

Ignore this "review" until I have actually tried it on people. Smile

Hej Tomas.

Why not let the spectator drop the watch inside the bag instead of put his hand inside?

1. This is not a prediction
2.Why put a watch in a bag?
3.Why pay so much

Hi,
Actually Elduco claims that it is a new principle actually that is a half truth!
It might be the first time it has been used for a watch trick but it has been used and Marketed by Eddie Burke of the Uk in the 70s
as Eddie Burkes Mentalist Bag and was used for a Q&A act

All Elduco stuff is a small change in the
method ,big cange in the effect(make it less
stronger then it was)
And it cost more money ...

Thanks to all of you for your comments.

I think my interest in this effect stems form my magician's curiosity that I have yet to outgrow.

But both Cendre and Shimi are right. A convoluted method and expensive to boot.

Thanks again for your valuable inputs.

Cheers,
Pradip
