Thank you, Magisher for your kind words. You are right, I offer a $5 discount to Cafe members on this book, and I pay the shipping in the US.

Just so everyone knows, the book is not hardbound. It is comb bound (similar to spiral bound for those of you not familiar with binding terminology), which I personally prefer for magic books, as it allows the book to lie flat without the pages turning on you while you're learning the material. It's 8.5 by 11 inches, there are 21 routines, 135 pages, 276 illustrations.

Like "Magishing My Way," the photos are in columns along the spine on facing pages, which allows you to scan them easily when reviewing the routines, and the text that refers to the photos is always on the same page.

I am NOT a "coin guy," so you won't find knuckle-busting stuff or innovative new moves like you would from say, Reed Mcclintock, Curtis Kam or Michael Rubinstein. What you will find is material that either is or has been in my repertoire when I work for real people at paying gigs. You probably won't like every routine in the book, and some of you will want to add some more advanced moves to some of the routines.

Is this the best coin book ever--the successor to Bobo? Absolutely not! But it is, I think, a good book with some good magic.

You won't be sorry if you purchase "Profiles In Coinage", you'll be absolutely delighted with your purchase.

I received my copy of Scott's book earlier this week. It's an excellent book, filled with solid commercial coin magic. This is coin magic that you will learn and use. Scott's writing style is clear and concise. He obviously knows this material 'inside out'.

If you'd like to get an overview of the book's contents, Scott has listed them in an earlier topic:
"One arrow. One life."

Thanks guys!

FYI--there will be a review of this book in the October issue of Visions, and in MUM and Linking Ring in the next month or so.
