I think I intimated that they were attributable to Goshman in an earlier thread, but I discovered that the effect seems to be originated by a Mr Frank Derrick so Al Goshman was getting some unecessary bad press! At least that's the information I have from "The Sponge Book." This is a collection of sponge magic from the 1960's and early 70's. Only 50 odd pages long, but some nice routines. The original routine was called "Spicy Sponges" and some ingenious taping of the falsies was required. Does anyone else have "The Sponge Book" or do routines from it? Maybe Goshman adapted the routine later.

By the way, I see the thread about Mr Goshman's sponge King Whatsit effect disappeared. That was a legitimate close up routine, with an admittedly naughty climax, but nevertheless its deletion seems somewhat unecessary.

Heheheh I'm sorry BlackShadow but ....
"sponge falsie loads" "Spicy Sponges"?

It just struck me funny and got me thinking about some girls I knew from the 60's.
