In Ted K's interview in Conversations with Mind Readers, he refer's to Al Mann's Magi Move for viewing a billet. Can anyone point me in the direction of source material for this?
Thanks |

A complete write-up for the Mag-Eye Move can be found in "The Purloined Thought," Al Mann's very limited edition hardbound compilation of center tears and peek material.

It's actually called the Mag-Eye move.

The original version of the "Mag-Eye Move" is in the Mann manuscript "Phanta-Graphs" (page 15) and also appeared in "The Purloined Thought" (with Richard Osterlind in the photo's along with Al Mann) with a later version appearing as its own manuscript entitled "The Mag-Eye Move Supreme" which was co-written by Mann and Bob Cassidy...
The move is very effective and deceptive and similar in scope to Richard's "PCT" as well as one componant of the more recent "PJ Tear" (which was an extremely limited release offering not available anymore)... You can sometimes find copies of "Phanta-Graphs" on ebay, but beware, chances are that what you'll purchase are bootleg copies of this Mann manuscript (as are many Mann offerings on ebay -- except for Richard's offers which are all originals as he knew Al Mann well)... Richard has an original copy of "The Mag-Eye Move Supreme" on auction right now - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie......amp;rd=1 Hope this helps... Success!!! Tony Blake The Thoughtreader |

THought Ted had said that this move didn't include tearing the billet...am I wrong on that? Thanks.
Richard, think you owe Tony a kick-back for his plug. Price began shooting up afterwards....hate it when something I'm bidding on gets publicity! |

Hi,
The billet is torn. However it is one of the best tears out there. Stan |

Al Mann, aka "Alleman" was a good guy, we spent a bit of time together in Toronto. What a mind that man had !
