Hi All, just wanted to introduce myself, im Jeff and it looks like you all have a great community going on here... glad that i found it and can join on
Little bit about myself: Im currently a college student studying computer science with a minor in psychology. I guess i could define myself as having a intent interest in magic over the years, its slipped over the years as my studies have overwhelmed me but a few days ago the spark was relit inside me (figurativley and literaly... i found myself thinking of a interesting way to lite a candle at the dinnertable which led me to try to come up with an entertaining effect involving burnt and restored objects / having a card appear in someone's meal... but i digress...)
Ive always seemed to have a bubbly personality at times and always have found it fun to combine that with a card illusion here and there but have never really gotten to the point where id perform much in front of people... hopefully that will change over time
My love of psychology seems to spark my natural interest in magic, with misdirection and the way people think playing into making an effective illusion.
I also would love to throw science and technology or any sort of innovation into a great illusion, "Any sufficently advanced tehcnology is indistinguisable from magic" i forget who it was that said that, but i seem to be sitting on the edge of creating "magic" in the sense of advanced technology and i think im coming over to the side of creating magic in the minds of people

Well I guess im rambling on here and hopefully i made a little sense at this late hour and wasnt too hard to follow...
